- Vitamin C taken orally must be a liposomal formulation for it be taken and absorbed in the high doses required; e.g., 20,000 mg per day.
Required Co-factors
- To treat cancer, vitamin C works best with alpha-lipoic acid, copper, selenium and vitamin K, which promote the production of reactive oxygen species like hydrogen peroxide to selectively kill cancer cells.
- Anyone taking high doses of vitamin C should also be supplementing magnesium and copper.
