Superhero

Superhero is a concentrate designed to be added to water and apple juice. This design allows you to control the sweetness and fruit sugar content of your child's drink and eliminates the use of artificial sweeteners and stevia. Although Superhero is flavoured with European elderberry and Australian beetroot juice, the addition of apple juice is absolutely required for a child-friendly taste.

Recommended daily doses
1-3 yrs: 10 ml    
4-9 yrs: 15 mL    
10-14 yrs: 30 ml

A standard 15-ml dose contains:
Vitamin C 500 mg (sodium ascorbate)
Vitamin D3 12.5 mcg (500 IU)
Vitamin B1 4 mg (thiamine)
Vitamin B6 2 mg
Vitamin B9 activated 150 mcg (methylfolate)
Vitamin B12 activated 25 mcg (methylcobalamin)
Methylsulfonylmethane (providing sulphur) 1.2 g
Selenium (chelated glycinate) 38 mcg
Iron (chelated glycinate) 6 mg
Copper (chelated glycinate) 400 mcg
Zinc (chelated glycinate) 3.7 mg
Magnesium (chelated glycinate) 14 mg
Magnesium (citrate) 33 mg  
Magnesium (from elderberry) 16 mg
Phosphorus (from elderberry) 28 mg
Potassium (from elderberry) 213 mg
Nitrates (from beetroot) 21.8 mg
Iodide 290 mcg

Chelated minerals are better absorbed than regular supplemented minerals. Some people require activated (methylated) forms of vitamins B9 and B12 as they poorly process the unactivated forms.

This formulation is designed to be added to apple juice, allowing you to control the sweetness and fruit sugar content. Crystals of methylsulfonylmethane may form through settling. These crystals can be dissolved by adding water.
